According to Raypak, the Hydraulic condition or water chemistry that caused the tube bundle to fail have very likely also damaged the Bypass Valve (006716F) and Unitherm Governor (006719F). It’s recommended to replace the Unitherm Governor and inspect the bypass assembly.

The 010062F Raypak Copper Heat Exchanger/Tube Bundle has been designed to replace worn out, damaged, and corroded heat exchangers on older Raypak models. This replacement kit comes complete with tube, baffles, header gaskets and flange nuts, making it easy for your pool professional to get your heater working, fast.
The 010062F Raypak Copper Heat Exchanger/Tube Bundle is a suitable heat exchanger replacement for Raypak heaters that have been designed with a copper heat exchanger (models P-R407A and P-R406A), but will not fit heaters with a cupro-nickel heat exchanger. If you need a new heat exchanger/tube bundle for your Raypak heater, be sure you choose the one that matches your existing model.
