Raypak pool heaters come in a variety of options, with propane and natural gas fuel supplies, and standing pilot and electronic ignitions available.

The millivolt, or standing pilot ignition system requires no external power source, powering its interface and internal electronics using a constantly lit pilot; this allows for smooth installations that don’t require extra wiring.

Meanwhile, the other ignition option – a digital electronic ignition – lights the pilot only when heat is needed, saving you from waste on your energy bills, and provides improved temperature control. It can also be connected to external control interfaces.

Raypak pool heaters’ casings are made from a polyester textured powder coating called PolyTuf, which excels at resisting corrosion and rust, and is more reliable than solvent- and water-based coatings. Other environmental issues, such as leaves, rain, snow, and heavy winds, are no match for the Raypak pool heater’s robust casing either – it’s designed to breath naturally even when threatened by harsh weather. Advanced heat management allows the outer casing to remain cool even at high internal temperatures. All systems have specially fitted polymer headers and stainless steel tube sheets that prevent rust from staining the pool’s lining, while fighting the effects of condensation from cool inlet water. The burner trays can be easily removed and serviced, if that’s ever even necessary. (They’re very durable!) Raypak’s pool heaters also allow very high flow rates, meaning that water can heat quickly, and excel in fuel efficiency. With standardised CPVC 2” water joints, installation to a variety of systems is near effortless.
